I love lagers, well craft lagers, at least. This weekend, August 14 and 15, the 8th Annual Craft Lager Festival, in Manitou Springs, celebrates some of the best lagers in the country. With day passes starting at $25 it might be one of the more affordable festivals of the summer. For a little extra, you can get a collectible glass, at $35, still pretty affordable. VIP passes, however, are quite a bit more at $85, and includes a t-shirt as well as a collectible glass.
Of course, a lot of Colorado breweries will be offering samples, including Avery, Boulder Brewing, Ska, New Belgium, and Left Hand. Two breweries from just down the road will be there as well, Bristol, and Trinity.
